Shock and Awe

Welcome to the first blog post for timlongo.com! Yes, it is about time, I know. I’ve owned the URL for more years than I care to share with you and wasted a lot of money with the hope that I would actually get something going at some point during all these years. Well that day is finally here and I’m more shocked than you are. As Jason Weesner finally convinced me, once you get the first post on there, the rest just comes streaming along. Let’s hope he is right!

I hope this site to be more than just a random blog. My initial intention is to focus it on thoughts relating to game development with secondary goals of keeping my sights on my life-long love of Theatre and my secret love of the Wilderness. Though they may not have much in common, you never know when seemingly disconnected interests find a way to connect directly to one another.

So let me get straight to all the thoughts I’ve had bottled up and end this first post with a link to my “about” page. If you care to know more details about me and my background, look at the page here.

Thanks for starting this off with me…(and look, no bullet points in the first post!)
