About

About this site: For those of you who know Tim, you also know that he isn’t the most grammatically correct writer in the world. Spelling, grammar, syntax, complete sentences in general; those are his enemies. Fragments, run-ons, and of course bullet points are his friends. Not only does he prefer to communicate in the written word using primarily bullet points, but even in his everyday speech he strives to speak in bullet points. So it made total sense to him to title his blog as such. Let’s hope you all forgive him for it.

About Tim: Tim studied Theatre acting and directing with an emphasis on directing at San Francisco State University. Right out of college he landed a job as a game tester at LucasArts. Some of the projects Tim has been involved with were:

  • Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (QA)
  • Star Wars: Dark Forces – PSX Version (QA)
  • Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 – Jedi Knight (QA)
  • Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (QA)

  • Unannounced Project at Crystal Dynamics (Creative Director)

Tim’s Moby Games profile can be found here.

Tim is currently working at Crystal Dynamics as a Creative Director on an unannounced project.

About Tim and the Wilderness: Tim is a Leave No Trace Master Educator and was recently (in 2005 for one season) a Wilderness Ranger for Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe in California overseeing the Volunteer and Education programs. He continues to volunteer for Desolation training others in the principles of Leave No Trace and to give talks at Bay Area REI stores on Desolation Wilderness and Wilderness Ethics in general. If you are interested in becoming a Leave No Trace Trainer please contact Tim for further information.

About Tim and the Theatre: Though Tim has not been directly involved with organized theatre for some time now (thanks to god damn games), some personal projects have gotten off the ground in the recent past. Those include:

  • Three Fools and a Cliff – An original workshop project with Greg Land and Alex Neuse. (2003-04)
  • Tales of Winter – An original chamber theatre production of cultural story-telling from around the world focusing on the tales of the Winter Solstice. (2005-06)
    • We plan to continue this particular show each winter season around the time of the Winter Solstice.
    • The play was also written by my wife, Jennifer Longo.
    • And yes, Tim does in fact sing in this show. But it isn’t pretty.

Tim hopes to add more events to this list at some point in the near future. Though that probably isn’t the best idea.
